Kate Norigian is a local opera singer/classically-trained singer who has been teaching voice lessons for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in voice performance and has studied with some of the best opera singers who have had internation careers at the Metropolitan Opera da La Scala. Kate believes in teaching a healthy vocal technique. Classical technique is still considered the foremost technique to balance the voice and work on vocal registeration and a free/easy singing technique. Once you learn Classical technique, you can change the style to reflect whatever genre you would like. I've had singers who are rock singers some to me and wrote to me years later that my vocal instruction helped them land hundreds of professional gigs.
