Aria Opera Company

Aria Opera Company is a new opera company in Rhode Island. An aria is the name of a song or ballad in opera which comes from the Italian word for air. It is the mission of Aria Opera to be an Arts Initiative Nonprofit in Rhode Island that includes, but is not limited to opera. It is the belief of Aria Opera that, like air, humans need the Arts to thrive. Rhode Island is home to some of the best artists in the country. Aria Opera seeks to collaborate with other local artists who utilize different artistic mediums such as local visual artists, film creators, dancers, costume designers etc. to create educational experiences through interdisciplinary art. Various forms of art are welcomed to enhance a cross-artistic and immersive experience for the viewer. This sense of ‘total art’ would be the mission of Aria Opera.
